Michelle graduated with honors from the University of California Los Angeles with a B.A. in History and a minor in Education. In addition to various roles in education and administration, she has over 12 years of experience in service leadership programs and community engagement.

Michelle works primarily with the thousands of community, school, and religious groups that support the organization. Last year SHFB distributed 31.7 million pounds of nutritious food to low-income people in need in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Second Harvest seeks not only to address the immediate food need, but also to engage the community and attack the roots of hunger.

  Mitra Naaseh is a strategy advisor to corporate and foundation executives on corporate social responsibility and the development and marketing of social initiatives. Ms. Naaseh holds a BS and MS in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Santa Clara University. She has over 20 years of diverse experience in the fields of engineering design & applications, global sales and marketing, strategic planning and public / private partnerships. Her marketing experience includes brand management, advertising, and corporate communication. She has been an active member and advisor for various local and global non-profits and social ventures for a number of years.

Ms. Naaseh served for 5 years as the Director of Marketing & Strategic Planning for Intel’s Global Citizenship Programs. Ms. Naaseh currently consults with a number of companies on increasing impact through social responsibility.

  Early in her career, Jenna worked in marketing and sales for Fox Lorber Foreign Films, was a transportation broker for petroleum carriers in South America, and a consultant for the Cape Branch Foundation (Johnson and Johnson), the Nike Foundation, and Brazil’s Landless Workers Movement. Jenna holds a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of Public Affairs in Human Rights and a B.A. from the University of Virginia in English Literature.

LaborFair, Launched in 2006 by social entrepreneurs, Laborfair has service marketplaces in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and will open in NYC Fall 2008. Jay McGowan- Official Speaker for Al Gore's Climate Project
www.cliamtecrisis.net   Jay McGowan was selected to trained as a presenter for Al Gore's Climate Project. After completing training in Nashville Jay worked on many projects concerning voter rights issues, including working on a documentary with an Emmy Award winning director, and traveling to New Mexico with Voter Protection in the 2004 election.

Jay spent twenty years in business, during that time completing his MBA from Santa Clara., and has been involved in Environmental activism including lecturing and grassroots work for a decade.

  Rajesh is an Initiator of change, keenly perceptive of possibilities. He delivers best in situations that are fluid and changing, and that allow him to express his creativity and use his charisma.

Rajesh has a Bachelor in Engineering from Indian university and has a Masters in Engineering Management and Leadership from Santa Clara University. He has 10 years of web application design and development experience using Microsoft Technologies and currently working as a software consultant at MagellanGPS. He is also a qualified MBTI professional permitted to interpret people's personalities as a hobby and he is an ENFP.
